Synopsis

Rama is the eldest prince of Ayodhya and everyone's favorite to inherit his father's kingdom. But when one of his father's wives schemes to put her own son on the throne instead, Rama gets banished to the forest for 14 years. He heads into exile with his wife Sita and brother Lakshman, trying to make the best of things despite the hardship. Their forest life gets turned upside down when the Demon King Ravan becomes obsessed with Sita. Through a clever trick, he manages to separate Rama from her and drag her off to his castle. Devastated and desperate, Rama sets out to search the world for his wife—though he has no idea just how brutal the battle to get her back will be.
