Synopsis

A doctor exploring the ruins of Angel Island discovers a mysterious newborn bird named Kyoro-chan. The two bond and set off to travel the world together. Fast forward three years—when they try to return to Angel Island, a storm hits and shipwrecks them. Kyoro-chan manages to reach the island safely, but the doctor vanishes without a trace. Left alone, Kyoro-chan prays for the doctor's safe return and begins a new life on Angel Island, holding onto hope.
