Synopsis

Forty-one years before the story begins, King Vegeta of Planet Vegeta becomes worried when he notices a baby named Broly—whose raw power already exceeds his own son's. Fearing Broly will eventually outshine Prince Vegeta, the king exiles him to the wasteland planet Vampa. Broly's father Paragus chases after him, but his damaged ship leaves them both stranded there for years with no way out. Fast forward to present day Earth. Goku and Prince Vegeta—the last two Saiyans alive—are training on a remote island when they're interrupted by Frieza, of all people. The confrontation sends them searching for the final Dragon Balls on a frozen continent, where Frieza reveals his new trump cards: Paragus and a massively powered-up Broly. What follows is an earth-shattering battle as Goku and Vegeta take on an opponent whose power seems limitless and whose rage just keeps building.
