Synopsis

Mo Fan is a detached high schooler who suddenly finds himself in an alternate world where magic exists instead of science. In this dangerous place, talented students learn to cast spells and fight off monstrous creatures that threaten nearby cities. Like before, Mo Fan comes from poverty—his dad's a laborer and his sister is disabled. But he's determined to become a magician, both to earn respect and to give back to his struggling family. He manages to get into a prestigious magic academy, though students quickly write him off as a poor nobody with no real magical talent. Everything changes when Mo Fan discovers he can wield fire magic, and even more surprisingly, the rare lightning element. With these dual powers suddenly unlocked, he's ready to prove everyone wrong—but what dangers lie ahead?
