Synopsis

Ye Jiayao is a talented young cook with big dreams of becoming a famous chef. Through some kind of magical accident, she ends up transported back to Imperial China—but there's a catch. She wakes up in the body of a completely useless girl who immediately gets kidnapped and held for ransom. Not ideal. But Ye Jiayao's got brains and a sharp sense of humor, which turn out to be way more useful than her new body could ever be. She uses her wits to manipulate her way out of trouble and get what she wants.
