Synopsis

Chronicle of Char and Sayla When their father Zeon Zum Deikun—a major Spacenoid leader—suddenly dies, it sets off a chain of events that will define the lives of his two children: Char Aznable and his sister Sayla Mass. Over four episodes, the series follows how this tragedy shapes their fates. The story explores everything that comes next: how the Zabi family takes over Side 3 and establishes the Principality of Zeon, the rise of the ace pilots who'd later become legendary during the One Year War, the development of mobile suits, clashes with the Earth Federation Forces, and ultimately the events that spark the war itself. It's basically the origin story for everything that happens in the original Gundam series, told through the lens of Char's journey to becoming the "Red Comet."
