Synopsis

After inheriting her father's production company and its struggling flagship show "Miracle Finder," a young woman desperately searches for fresh material to keep it from getting canceled. She lands on "Evol"—a mysterious gene that's given some people superhuman abilities and could be the next stage of human evolution. It sounds like perfect TV gold, but there's a catch: the existence of these powered individuals might spark an all-out war for survival. As she digs deeper into the world of "Evolvers," four men suddenly enter her life: Kira, a charismatic idol; Simon, a neuroscientist and university professor; Zen, the cold CEO of Loveland Financial Group and her company's biggest backer; and Haku, her former high school senior turned cop with a rough past. Strange attacks begin tearing through the city, and she soon realizes there's more to this than a good story. There's an organization called Black Swan orchestrating these incidents—and they might be connected to her father's death. As the mystery deepens, she has to figure out what role she's meant to play in all of this and how these four men are tangled up in it.
