It's 2060 when eight-year-old Dorothy and her dog get mysteriously transported to the Galaxy of Oz. The galaxy used to be ruled by the evil witch Gloomhilda, but the good Dr. Oz kicked her out. Now she's back with an army, ready to reclaim power—except Dorothy's sudden arrival ruins her sneak attack. Dr. Oz knows Gloomhilda will try again, so he comes up with a plan to stop her for good. According to legend, three magical crystals—Love, Wisdom, and Courage—are hidden somewhere in the galaxy. Whoever collects all three gets to rule Oz forever. Dr. Oz recruits Dorothy and a ragtag team of heroes to hunt down the crystals before Gloomhilda can get her hands on them.
