Synopsis

Megu arrives on Earth as a young teenager and gets taken in by Mammi Kanzaki, a former witch who abandoned her royal ambitions to marry a human. Mammi uses magic to make her husband and their two kids, Rabi and Apo, believe Megu has always been part of the family as their oldest child. She then trains Megu to master her powers and keep her impulses in check—basically grooming her to prove she's fit to be queen someday. This coming-of-age theme runs through the whole series.
