Thirteen years ago, a plague wiped out 90% of humanity. The dead didn't stay dead—they came back as zombies. Now the survivors hide away from the ruined cities, dreaming of reclaiming them someday. A whole new generation has grown up knowing nothing but this broken world. Aki is one of them. She has no memories of life before the collapse, but when her father goes missing, she can't just sit around waiting. She takes off with her friends Haru and Natsuki to find him. The outside world turns out to be exactly as dangerous as the stories warned—zombies everywhere, closing in from all sides. Along the way they manage to rescue two more people, Yuu and Sakura, and the five of them hole up in a home improvement store to regroup. Now it's time to fight back.
