Synopsis

Candy is an orphan with an optimistic outlook and a genuinely kind heart. Growing up at Pony's Home, she formed a close friendship with another girl named Annie and met a mysterious boy on the hill behind the orphanage—someone she'd come to think of as the "Prince of the Hill." Everything changes when the Leagan family adopts her. Her new life comes with some rough patches, mainly in the form of her adoptive brother Neil and his sister Eliza, neither of whom are particularly welcoming. Things take an unexpected turn when Candy meets a boy in the rose garden who looks exactly like her childhood prince. His name is Anthony, and his arrival sets off a series of events that will completely upend her life in ways she never saw coming.
