College student Keiichi Morisato messes up a food delivery order and somehow ends up calling the Goddess Hotline instead. A gorgeous goddess named Belldandy literally emerges from his mirror to grant his wish. Things go downhill fast—he gets evicted from his dorm—so Keiichi and Belldandy end up moving into an abandoned shrine together. Not long after, Belldandy's sisters Urd and Skuld show up and decide to move in too.
