Synopsis

After a devastating third world war destroyed Japan, the organization Vischio took over Tokyo and rebranded it as Toshima. In the city's back alleys, they run brutal fighting tournaments called Igura, where contestants literally battle until bloodied just for a shot at facing the tournament's undefeated king, Il-re. But Igura isn't the only game in town. There's also Bl@ster, a fighting tournament with actual rules—no killing, no weapons, victory by knockout only. Akira, a young fighter isolated from his family, was basically untouchable at Bl@ster. Then his world falls apart when he's framed for murder. With no way to prove his innocence, he's trapped. That's when a mysterious woman named Emma shows up with an offer: compete in Igura and beat Il-re, and he'll regain his freedom.
