Van stumbles upon an abandoned facility in a remote desert on Planet Zi and discovers an Organoid—a dinosaur-like robot—inside a broken cocoon. He names it Zeke and keeps it, but when bandits show up to steal the creature, Van manages to escape by awakening and bonding with an old Zoid called the Shield Liger. Back at the facility, Van finds another cocoon, hoping for a second Organoid. Instead, a girl named Fiona emerges. She doesn't remember much about herself, only that she needs to find something called the Zoid Eve. Curious about her origins and what the Zoid Eve actually is, Fiona joins Van and Zeke on their journey. The three travel across the planet, making friends and enemies along the way while uncovering secrets and getting caught up in both dangerous situations and lighter moments.
