Synopsis

Five years after winning the World Martial Arts tournament, Goku's living a quiet life with his wife and son—until a stranger named Raditz shows up claiming to be his brother. Raditz reveals the truth: Goku is a Saiyan, one of an almost-extinct alien race, and was sent to Earth as a baby to conquer it. A head injury gave him amnesia and changed everything, turning the would-be conqueror into the good-hearted fighter everyone knows today. When Raditz fails to recruit Goku to his side, he drops a bomb on everyone—there are more Saiyans coming to Earth, and they're powerful. The planet's about to get caught up in an intergalactic war, and at the center of it all are the Dragon Balls, seven magical orbs that can grant any wish. Only the strongest warriors will make it through what's coming.
