Synopsis

E-Rantel, capital of the newly formed Sorcerer Kingdom, is struggling. The city used to be a trading hub, but now it's starving for goods—partly because everyone's terrified of King Ainz Ooal Gown. To fix things, Ainz sends Albedo to the city as a diplomatic envoy. Meanwhile, the Slane Theocracy's cardinals are plotting their revenge. Ainz's forces already wrecked the Re-Estize Kingdom's army, so now they're scheming to get the Baharuth Empire to attack the Sorcerer Kingdom instead. But when Emperor Jircniv arranges a secret meeting with the Theocracy's representatives at a colosseum, Ainz himself shows up. The whole thing blows up in their faces. Not only is their conspiracy exposed, but they're forced to watch as Ainz challenges the Warrior King—the empire's greatest fighter—to a duel. Jircniv has no idea what Ainz is really after, so all he can do is stand there and watch as the future of humanity gets decided right in front of him.
