A shadowy organization called Telegraph Pole Society is plotting to take over the world. To fight back, the local high school principal recruits three students—Shogi Morita, Kuho Tasuke, and Akiko Ifukube—to form a Defense Force. Meanwhile, the school's eccentric scientist Dr. Inogami has converted a local kid named Kami Sanchin into a cyborg. With their new cyborg ally, the Defense Force might actually have a shot at stopping Telegraph Pole Society. Or maybe they're totally outmatched. Hard to say.
