Kazuki Yoshino and Yuuya Niyodo are the members of the idol duo ZINGS. Kazuki throws himself into every performance, but Yuuya treats the whole thing like a paycheck—nothing more. His lack of effort and total indifference to fans finally gets their manager's attention, who gives him an ultimatum: step up or get fired. That's when Yuuya meets Asahi Mogami backstage. She's dressed in a wild, colorful costume and has an energy that's infectious. There's just one problem: Asahi died a year ago. She's a ghost, and she's furious. She had everything ahead of her as an idol, and seeing Yuuya waste his chance when she'd give anything to perform again sends her into a rage. Before he knows what's happening, she possesses him. At first, Yuuya's thrilled—Asahi basically becomes his performance puppet while he coasts. But Asahi's got bigger plans than just letting him off easy. Dead or not, she's determined to make him care about something other than money. She wants to drag him up to become the greatest idol out there. The question is whether someone as unmotivated as Yuuya can ever actually want that too.
