Rifle Shooting Girls Rifle shooting is a competitive sport focused on accuracy and precision. In Japan, where civilians can't own firearms, the sport traditionally belonged to military personnel. Everything changed when competitions started using laser rifles instead of live ammunition—suddenly high school students could participate, and the sport took off in schools across the country. Hikari Kokura is a first-year who transfers to Chidori High School already passionate about marksmanship. She's crushed to learn that the rifle club has been disbanded due to lack of interest, so she decides to revive it herself. Through some combination of determination and luck, she convinces three other students to join: her childhood friend Izumi Shibusawa, the half-Russian Erika Meinohama, and the quiet, serious Yukio Igarashi. With these four members, the Chidori Rifle-Shooting Club is officially born. They have one ambition: to make it to the national tournament.
