Set in a future version of Akihabara, this story follows a city that's lost its way. Once the beating heart of otaku culture, the district has transformed into just another corporate office hub. Anime and manga have faded from public consciousness, with only a handful of specialty shops keeping the flame alive. Here's the thing: the entire world of creative works—manga, anime, all of it—actually exists because people remember it. But when a virus starts corrupting these fictional worlds, they don't just disappear from the stories themselves. They get wiped from everyone's memories and vanish from reality altogether. Twelve girls working at a small shop tucked away in Akihabara become the unlikely defenders of these cherished memories. They're fighting against the virus to save people's connection to their favorite series and, hopefully, bring Akihabara back to what it used to be.
