Synopsis

The Kitauji High School concert band has made it past the regional competition, and now they're laser-focused on winning gold at nationals. For Kumiko Oumae, the third-year president, and her friends, this is their last shot before graduation—so the pressure's on. She's got the weight of leading the whole band on her shoulders, and she's not entirely sure she's up to the task. Then Mayu Kuroe transfers in. She's got this calm, easygoing vibe and plays euphonium really well—she used to be at Seira Girls' School, which is basically a nationals powerhouse. Mayu seems nice enough, but there's something about her that puts Kumiko on edge, something she can't quite put her finger on. With fresh faces joining the band and everyone gearing up for nationals, the club's about to find out what it actually takes to compete at that level. Gold is the goal, but getting there? That's going to demand everything they've got.
