Synopsis

Makoto Nakazono has always been able to see grim reapers—they show up right before someone dies to collect their soul. He's known for years that telling anyone would be pointless, so he just keeps his head down and pretends not to notice. What else can he do? He can't change fate anyway. But then a reaper actually talks to him at school. The reaper wants to know why Makoto never tries to help anyone. When Makoto finds out the reaper is there for his best friend Hazuki Horiuchi, everything shifts. Suddenly he's wondering if maybe—just maybe—he could actually do something to buy her some extra time.
