Mushishi Zoku Shou
Humans have always found the Mushi strange and unsettling. These misshapen creatures mean no real harm, but their very existence comes with consequences—and when people exploit them without understanding what they're dealing with, things go wrong fast. Mushishi Zoku Shou picks up with Ginko, a mushishi, as he continues his travels trying to help the human world and the Mushi coexist peacefully. Along the way, Ginko encounters all kinds of people—some gifted, some cursed—who've become entangled with the Mushi in various ways. He's forced to keep asking himself whether humans, no matter how talented or broken they are, can actually handle the responsibility of living alongside something so alien and unknowable. And as someone who studies and interacts with the Mushi, Ginko wrestles with his own role in all this: does he even have the right to meddle in the relationships between these creatures and mankind?
