Love Live! School Idol Project
Otonokizaka High School is closing down. Student enrollment has been dropping year after year, and once the current first years graduate, that's it—the school shuts its doors for good. But second-year Honoka Kousaka isn't about to let that happen without a fight. After spotting the popular school idol group A-RISE, she gets an idea: start her own school idol group to drum up interest in the school. She ropes in her childhood friends Umi and Kotori, and together they form μ's (Muse). Problem is, student council president Eri Ayase is dead set against it and will do whatever she can to shut them down. Even worse, Honoka and her friends struggle to recruit new members. But there's a silver lining: Love Live, a national competition for school idol groups, could be the publicity boost they need. With the competition approaching fast, Honoka has to scramble to assemble a full group and actually win the whole thing if she wants any shot at saving the school.
