Synopsis

Magic isn't real—or so everyone thinks. But in the hands of a true master, it can genuinely blow your mind. Kaito Kuroba's father was exactly that kind of master: a world-renowned stage magician. Growing up around the art of deception and sleight of hand, Kaito's become pretty good at using tricks and pranks to mess with people. That all changes when he finds a hidden passage in his house and discovers something shocking—a white outfit tucked away inside. It belonged to Kid the Phantom Thief, and it might have something to do with his father's death eight years ago. Desperate to learn the truth, Kaito puts on the outfit and becomes Kid himself. He starts hunting for the legendary Pandora Gem, rumored to grant immortality. But there's a problem: the organization that killed his father is after the same gem, and now they're hunting him. So Kaito becomes Kaitou Kid, a phantom thief of the night. Armed with dummies, disguises, and a trademark card gun, he pulls off daring heists to steal the world's most valuable jewels. It's all part of his real mission though—uncovering the truth about his father and tracking down the Pandora Gem before his enemies do.
