Synopsis

Wang Ling's been keeping a low profile since dealing with some past trouble, but his previous meddling with the natural order has caused psychic powers worldwide to weaken significantly. When his spirit sword Jingke tries to help reverse the decline, it accidentally tears a hole in space—and that's when things get really bad. Demons pour through the rift and start draining the spiritual energy that human society depends on. Guess who's the only one strong enough to stop them? Yeah, Wang Ling. So now he's stuck trying to juggle his normal high school routine with being the world's last line of defense against demon invasion. Between dealing with surprise teacher visits, forging new spiritual swords, sorting out his complicated feelings for Sun Rong, and actually fighting the creatures tearing through reality, Wang Ling's got his hands full.
