Synopsis

Amuro Ray and his fellow Mobile Suit pilots get stranded on a remote island after their covert mission falls apart. They were supposed to sweep the place—nicknamed the Island of No Return—for enemy forces, but instead they run into a group of kids and get attacked by enemy mechas. Now Amuro's stuck trying to figure out how to get everyone off this weird island, especially after he meets Cucuruz Doan, a mysterious guy with his own agenda.
