Synopsis

Miko Yotsuya's eyes are glued to her phone screen, tears streaming down her face, while an unsettling monster looms inches away demanding, "Can you see me?" She keeps her gaze locked on the phone anyway. Not long ago, her biggest concern was catching horror movies late at night. Then one day everything changed—now she's the only one who can actually see the grotesque creatures lurking around school and town. So Miko makes a decision: no matter what happens, she won't acknowledge these things exist. If she pretends they aren't there, maybe they'll leave her alone. The problem is, ignoring them doesn't make them go away, and she can see exactly how they're messing with the people around her—especially her best friend Hana Yurikawa, who has no idea what's happening. To protect her friends from being bothered by monsters they can't even perceive, Miko does her best to keep her head down and navigate school like nothing's wrong. It's harder than it sounds, especially when she's terrified.
