Gokudo
Gokudou-kun Manyuuki
Gokudou steals a pouch from a fortuneteller, expecting it to contain a gem. It doesn't—it's actually a rock housing a genie named Djinn. The genie offers the standard three wishes, and Gokudou, not being the thoughtful type, just goes for it. He doesn't get what he expects, but the best of his wishes lands him Honou no Maken, a magical sword that shoots fire and can be summoned from anywhere. Even with a magic sword, Gokudou's life stays pretty miserable. Djinn, who's a shapeshifter, turns him into a woman just to mess with him. He picks up Rubette La Late as a traveling companion—she's more interested in adventure and karaoke than actually helping him, and she's constantly trying to one-up him. The fortuneteller keeps showing up too, basically just to smack him around and ruin his day. Later on, another sidekick joins the group: Prince, a former dark magician who's better looking, smoother with women, and generally outshines Gokudou in every way that matters. Which, naturally, Gokudou hates.
