Synopsis

Shunichi Domoto's good at sports, but nothing really grabs him—until he finds competitive yo-yo. When his friend Beso Kimura loses his yo-yo to school bully Benkei Musashimaru in a match, Shunichi reluctantly steps in to help get it back. After just three days of practice, he challenges Benkei and wins, which goes straight to his head. He's convinced he can master anything if he tries hard enough. That confidence gets crushed pretty fast when he loses to Seito Hojoin, an actual prodigy at yo-yo. The humiliating defeat stings, but it also lights a fire in him. Now Shunichi's determined to beat Seito and win Japan's national Yo-yo Championship.
