Synopsis

The war against evil is almost over. The Undead King Leonis Death Magnus—the last Dark Lord standing—knows he can't win. So he seals himself underground, planning to wake up a thousand years later and raise a new demonic army. A millennium passes, and the world has completely transformed. Nobody remembers the old war anymore. Instead, humanity faces a new enemy: creatures called Voids. Magic has given way to technology, and specially-gifted humans wield magical weapons called Holy Swords while training at Excalibur Academy to fight back. Leonis is reborn as a 10-year-old kid. When a girl named Riselia Ray Crystalia finds him in the ruins of his tomb, she assumes he has amnesia and takes him under her wing. She gets him enrolled at Excalibur Academy. Leonis still wants to conquer the world—but first he needs to figure out how everything works in this completely unfamiliar new reality.
