Synopsis

The world of Terra underwent a massive shift when people discovered Originium, a black crystalline mineral with incredible energy potential. It allowed humans to use Arts—basically magic—and kickstarted technological progress across the globe. The downside? Originium naturally forms in massive deposits during Catastrophes, which are destructive natural disasters triggered by the mineral itself. There's a catch to using Originium though. Exposure leads to Oripathy, an incurable and highly contagious disease. Infected people face brutal discrimination from their own societies, which pushed them to organize. They formed Reunion, a rebel group that fights back by destroying cities—making everything worse, including the Catastrophes themselves. Rhodes Island stands apart as a paramilitary pharmaceutical organization dedicated to treating both the infected and uninfected without prejudice. They're also leading the charge on finding a cure for Oripathy. The problem is their lead researcher, the Doctor, is the only one pushing the project forward—and they can't remember anything about their past due to amnesia. So basically, humanity's best shot at saving the infected is being hampered by one person's lost memories.
