Synopsis

Beneath the Earth's surface lies the Inner World, where intelligent spiders are locked in constant war against an invading insectoid race called the Insectors. The spiders have allies in "Spider Riders"—humans from the surface world chosen by the Oracle to fight alongside them. When young Hunter Steele discovers his grandfather's journal filled with tales of a mysterious pyramid, he sets out to explore. The Oracle finds him and pulls him into the Inner World as a Spider Rider. Lost in a forest, Hunter meets Shadow, a massive spider who reluctantly agrees to bond with him. It's Corona, a skilled Spider Rider and kind-hearted girl, who actually teaches him how to be useful in this world and explains what's at stake if the Insectors win. So Hunter's journey begins—a reckless kid trying to save the Inner World from tyranny. But his real mission is collecting four Oracle Keys to restore the Oracle's full power, which eventually forces him into a final battle against Mantid, the Insectors' ruthless leader.
