Astro Boy looks like your average kid—cheerful, curious, always up for an adventure. Except he's a robot, and he can fly and lift basically anything. He lives in a small town where humans and robots get along just fine, and his friendly personality means he's got plenty of friends to hang out with. He and his crew are constantly exploring and getting into things, eager to see what's out there. Of course, trouble has a way of showing up. A criminal named Hamegg keeps getting in their way, usually with backup from Gora (a massive pink robot gorilla) and Professor Flau. But as Astro and his friends keep pushing through whatever obstacles come their way, they're really learning what makes the world worth exploring—and what it's actually worth protecting.
