A series based on the Shin Megami Tensei Devil Children: Light & Dark games, released in the U.S. as DemiKids. It's the year 200X. Jin, Akira, and Lena are three friends who've always been into mysterious stuff. One day at the library, they and a mysterious new transfer student named Ami stumble across the "Akuma Compendium." When they read an incantation from it, actual devils suddenly appear—turns out it's real. Ami reveals that Jin and Akira are "Devil Children" chosen to determine the world's fate, and gives them their Devil Risers. The group then travels through the "Door of Time" to Valhalla, a mystical land where they have to take down an evil ruler named Imperius who's trying to conquer everything. Jin partners with a Sol Lion named Rand, while Akira teams up with a Hylon called Gale.
