After defeating Gaito in their final battle, Sara sacrificed herself to stay with him. The sea world found peace again, though now with only six mermaid princesses instead of seven. Caren, Noel, and Coco have already gone back to their kingdoms. Now it's time for Lucia, Hanon, and Rina to return home too—especially since Tarou is moving to Germany and Kaito's heading to Hawaii. Lucia's heartbroken about it all, and things only get worse when Kaito goes missing at sea. To top it off, a mysterious angel named Michel shows up and tries to recruit the mermaids to his side. There's some good news though. Sara's spirit reaches out to Lucia with word of her successor: a young mermaid named Seira. Looks like the mermaids are about to deal with another adventure.
