Synopsis

Norakuro follows a scruffy black-and-white stray who gets enlisted in the Mokenrentai, an elite army unit of white dogs fighting against an enemy Monkey Army. As a Private Second Class, he's basically a fish out of water—the only dark dog among an army of pristine white soldiers, constantly fumbling through his duties. The anime adaptation stayed pretty true to the original manga, but added one notable new element: an army nurse named Miko, who Norakuro develops a crush on. The character was voiced by Nobuyo Ooyama, who'd later become famous for voicing Doraemon.
