Synopsis

Takeo Nanachi and his friends head to a remote village looking for material for a theater project. They arrive during a weird festival that only happens once every few decades—super rare stuff. Takeo was hoping to use the occasion to purify his grandfather's old sword, but the villagers aren't letting outsiders in on any of it. Then his car breaks down and he gets stuck, which is actually perfect timing because he ends up getting pulled into the festival's strange rituals anyway. Along the way, he develops a connection with Kuraki Fuzuchi, the priest's son.
