Synopsis

Mako is a young mermaid princess—literally the daughter of the Sea King himself. When she saves a guy named Akira from drowning during a storm (he's some kind of sports player), she falls hard for him. To be with him, she gets help from a sea witch to transform into a human and enrolls in his high school. From there, she basically becomes everyone's problem-solver, using her strong sense of justice and a magical pendant called the Tear of the Mermaid to help out whenever things get messy.
