Synopsis

Throughout history, people have fought for power—and the future isn't much different. In the Kingdom of Firantic, two royal houses are battling it out for control of the throne. Whoever retrieves a legendary artifact called the Firebird and brings it back will rule the kingdom. The story begins in the present day at the Ace Detective Agency, where detectives Paul Tuck and Tracy Headly are killing time with magazines since there's no actual work. Then a girl suddenly appears—and judging by her clothes, she's clearly not from their era. She explains that she's Princess Sara of Firantic, sent here from the future through a time tunnel. Even stranger, she tells them they'll eventually get married and she'll be their descendant many generations down the line. Paul and Tracy are floored by her telepathic abilities and the whole marriage revelation. But there's a catch: Sara is searching for the Firebird across time, and she has no clue where it actually is. The only lead she's got is that Princess Miranda, a rival from her own time, has also traveled to the present. Realizing they need to protect their future daughter's fate, Paul and Tracy agree to help Sara track down Miranda—who apparently knows everything about the Firebird's location.
