Hungry Heart: Wild Striker
Kyousuke has always lived in his older brother Seisuke's shadow—literally, since Seisuke is a star soccer player in Japan. Kyousuke couldn't keep up with his brother's pace and eventually gave up on the sport altogether. When he enters Jouyou Akanegaoka High School as a freshman, Kyousuke swears he's done with soccer for good. But Miki Tsujiwaki, captain of the girls' soccer team, and Kazuto Mori, manager of the boys' team, both see something in him they want to tap into. They're convinced he could be great—whether that's for his own benefit or theirs is another question. Now Kyousuke has to decide: stick to his guns and leave soccer behind, or take the chance to fall in love with the game again and become the world's best striker.
