Synopsis

A fresh graduate takes on his first teaching job and quickly realizes he's in over his head. His students won't stop pranking and spying on him, his landlord keeps trying to dump junk on him, and things just keep getting worse. When he goes fishing to clear his head, he becomes convinced his only friend in town, Hotta, is actually behind all his troubles. Then things get weird. During a meeting about the students' behavior, the faculty suggests barely any punishment—which seems crazy given what the kids have done. But surprisingly, Hotta speaks up in Bocchan's defense. This makes him wonder: maybe the other teachers were wrong about Hotta? Maybe he's been suspicious of the wrong guy this whole time. When Bocchan stumbles onto some shady stuff involving the dean, he and Hotta join forces to expose what's really been going on. Turns out there's a bigger scandal at play, and the dean's been running his own game all along.
