Synopsis

Centuries ago, a shrine maiden sealed dangerous nature spirits inside forest trees to protect the world from their chaos. Fast forward to today: Suzu, a cheerful princess and that maiden's descendant, has spent her whole life locked away indoors. But when she sneaks into the forbidden zone one day, she finds a mysterious seed that sprouts into a carefree nature spirit. With her new companion, Suzu is thrilled to finally explore the outside world she's been forbidden from entering—though she has no idea what dangers actually lurk in the forbidden zone or why this seed was hidden away in the first place.
