Synopsis

Mangaka duo Moritaka Mashiro and Akito Takagi, working under the pen name Muto Ashirogi, are on their third serialized manga—and they're tantalizingly close to getting an anime adaptation. But there's a catch: they've got six months to outrank rival artist Eiji Niizuma, or their series gets canceled. On top of that, a bunch of other hungry mangaka are nipping at their heels and openly challenging them for the spot. At this point, they barely have time to even think about the anime they've been dreaming of. In Bakuman. 3rd Season, Muto Ashirogi has to figure out how to stay on top of the brutal Shounen Jack rankings. Juggling new problems and new assistants, the pair pushes forward toward their ultimate goal.
