Synopsis

Fumihiko, a marketing guy, gets stood up on a movie date. Just as he's about to ditch the tickets, a girl named Aka stops him and asks if she can go instead. She's an aspiring voice actress and turns out to be exactly the kind of fun, weird person he needs—they have a great time together. Walking home afterward, they realize they live in the same neighborhood. That night, Fumihiko wakes up to sirens blaring outside. He goes to check it out and discovers that Aka's apartment has burned down, destroying everything she owns. He offers to let her stay with him, and they end up sleeping together that same night. After that, their lives get seriously tangled. They start living together, but they keep it quiet—especially once they realize Aka's been cast to voice the mascot character that Fumihiko designed for his company's new product. Despite the one-night stand they shared, they're trying to keep things platonic under their roof. As they navigate keeping their arrangement secret, they become each other's support system through the ups and downs of their careers.
