Synopsis

Shapeshifting monsters called Shinma—along with vampires—prowl the Earth spreading darkness and corruption among humans. Miyu, a princess from the dark realm, is humanity's only defense against them. She's got the power to grant people eternal happiness, but the irony is cruel: she's trapped between two worlds, destined to walk alone and torn apart by internal conflict. Her only real companion is Larva, a former evil Shinma who's now completely devoted to protecting her. The two of them navigate a bleak world where they witness human weakness and the loss of innocence firsthand. Miyu's isolated by the burden of knowing what she truly is—cut off from the humanity she's trying to save. She hunts the Shinma while being hunted herself, forever caught on the edge of darkness with no way out.
