Synopsis

When night falls, vampires rule the darkness—beautiful and terrifying creatures that freeze the blood of anyone unlucky enough to cross their path. Their numbers have been steadily dropping thanks to professional hunters willing to take them on. Everything changes when the vampire lord Meier Link kidnaps Charlotte Elbourne. Her desperate family calls in the Marcus Brothers, a notorious team of vampire hunters, along with D—a dhampir who's half-vampire, half-human and basically has all the perks with none of the drawbacks. The clock is ticking. If Meier turns Charlotte into a vampire before they catch up, she'll have to be killed. Worse, he's heading for Carmilla, an impregnable vampire stronghold that would put Charlotte beyond their reach forever. The hunters have to move fast.
