Synopsis

Sixteen-year-old Nanako Misonoo starts at the exclusive all-girls Seiran Academy with high hopes, only to get pulled into a messy world of backstabbing and drama. Things get worse when she's tapped to join the Sorority—an elite clique that basically runs the school. Problem is, Nanako's got none of the money, talent, or polish the other members have, which makes her an easy target. The worst is fierce girl Aya Misaki, who seems to have it out for her. To make sense of everything, Nanako writes letters to Takehiko Henmi, her former teacher and the person she trusts most—she calls him "onii-sama." Her real lifeline, though, is her four closest friends: childhood friend Tomoko, the unpredictable Mariko, troubled musician Rei, and athletic tomboy Kaoru. Oniisama e. is a hard-hitting drama about bullying and social cruelty. It follows Nanako as she navigates her first year at a brutal new school, dealing with vicious rumors, fake friends, and the constant pressure of fitting in where she doesn't belong.
