Synopsis

Inglis was a legendary king who spent his whole life building his nation. As he lay dying, the goddess Alistia rewarded his devotion by offering him one wish. There was only one thing he wanted: to be reborn so he could finally master swordsmanship, something that had eluded him in life. He got his wish. Inglis was reincarnated centuries later as the daughter of the noble Eucus family. At age six, everything changed when she was tested and found to be Runeless—unable to use magic through runes, which was the basis of all combat in this era. Normally this would be a disaster. It meant she could never become a knight. But Inglis saw an opening. She decided to become a squire instead, working under her cousin Rafinha Bilford. This way, she could dedicate herself entirely to physical training and sword skills without the expectations placed on mages or knights.
