Synopsis

Kitasan Black and Satono Diamond have idolized the horse girl Toukai Teiou since they were kids. Eager to follow in her hooves, they both enroll at Tracen Academy, a school built specifically to train horse girls for major races. Kitasan gets placed on Team Spica—the same team as Teiou, her hero—and she's thrilled. She tears through her early races undefeated, but then hits a wall when she fails to win her first Grade 1 race. A G1 is basically the highest honor in racing, so it's a major letdown. Still, she's determined to unlock her full potential and make up for it. Satono Diamond has a different problem. Her family has produced a string of naturally talented runners, but not a single one has ever won a G1. She's got the weight of generations on her shoulders—it's her turn to finally break the curse and give the Satono name the championship it deserves.
